Interesting. I wonder if they'll achieve more than a simple photo taken in a cancer ward?

Beautiful and creative ideas and design. However, don't think it will have any significant effect of discouraging smoking.. I feel.

I've gotta tell ya. I'm smoke free for 20 days now, and these photos just gave me all the boost I needed at this moment with my morning coffee and that nagging feeling in my head to smoke. Awesome work!

Agree. The pictures still propagate the smoking = cool BS. Pretty, but ultimately more about winning advertising awards than trying to influence people. Makes me wonder whether the award was funded by the tobacco industry?

Yeah, just a ad award campaign... Will be irony IF designers crack their head when coming out with the design ideas, while smoking hehehe..

i THINK research has showed somewhere (i heard from lecturer) that, SCARE Tactics work very very minimum to discourage smoking.

People KNOW that smoking is harmful... but it's not about KNOWING then.. what is it? I think Quitting for the sake of someone i love... MAYBE i can do it.

@greeeteacup For sure! Reminds me of an anti heroin campaign in the UK in the 80's which had the reverse effect and made being sick look stylish. What's with the skull in the ash? Is this a Heavy Metal band's album art?
