Despite the headlines that often tell us that "Fast Foods" aren't healthy, why on earth would they say that when a whole variety of fresh salads and vegetables are served in between these foods. My wife died last year aged 102 and Sylvia never gained additional weight or suffered any adverse effects to the occasional "Fast Food Diet". Perhaps the "Secret" is eating in moderation rather than to procrastinate against the companies who have provided this sought after alternative as a supplement instead. As a testimony to this fact, read of 'Our Story' and when you notice just how fit and energetic Sylvia was by indulging in 'Fast Foods", you'll no doubt well understand what moderation means. http://tinyurl.com/cle76u

I agree there are a lot of moron in fast but the biggest reason is providing food fast. If you really wanted that quality it would cost you more and they would have to take their time with each item. Then it wouldn't be fast food. Also most times they can't control the quality of produce and buns. If it's terrible they will reject it and send it back to the supplier or throw it away. Then they loose money and time since they will have to wait for another supply. Fast food will never look as good as the photos or comercials.

I understand fast food is what it is - and its our choice to indulge in the convenience. Marketing up your product is one thing - turning your cheeseburger into a heathen god of golden-bunned goodness at the mockery of a gullible customer is another. I actually feel kind of insulted when viewing fast food advertisements; seriously, you think I'm the type of consumer to buy that mouth-watering lie? Well you're right! Wait... shit. It worked.

I like this post.
