I need your help, tell me your favorite beer !

Beer is the world's oldest and most widely consumed alcoholic beverage and the third most popular drink overall after water and tea. It is produced by brewing and fermentation of starches, mainly derived from cereals the most common of which is malted barley, although wheat, corn, and rice are also widely used. Most beer is flavoured with hops, which add bitterness and act as a natural preservative, though other flavourings such as herbs or fruit may occasionally be included. Alcoholic beverages distilled after fermentation or fermented from non-starch sources such as grape juice (wine) or honey (mead) are not classified as beer.

I want to make a top ten list of commercial brands of beer, I need your help, tell me your favorite beer:))

there are no bad belgium beers, so I'd say all of those are my favourite.
actually, your question is wrong. there's not just "beer", there are all kinds of beers. You have the pilseners (ale in english?), and beers like duvel with herbs added.. you should categorize your question :)

I'm lucky to live near Maastricht, which is walking distance from belgium and only 10-20 minutes drive from germany. I get to taste the best beers in the world :D

I'm a german AND live in Bavaria, so - to keep with the cliché - I'm a bit of a beer nut. But: We have the "Reinheitsgebot" (I found 'German purity law' at dict.leo.org for this, but that doesn't make one think of beer exactly now, does it?), which states that only water, hops and malt (from wheat, but also other sorts of grain) are to be used in brewing beer, so - no herb or fruit flavorings, or it mustn't be called beer any more!
And, talking of "regional" beers, in the region where I live there are little regional breweries in, like, every second village or town, and everywhere the beer tastes a little different. And that's great!
So, I usually don't drink too much commercial beer.
Here's a little list of some - rather unknown - very good beers.

I especially like the Weltenburger, Bamberger and St. Georgen...

I am an alcoholic so choose not to drink alcohol. However, I do drink non-alcoholic beers, and they´re great, taste just like the real thing but less than .5% alcohol (or about as much as an orange). My favorite is Clausthauler.

In Amsterdam, a world wide convention of brewers was held.
The presidents of many of the world's greatest breweries were on hand, and many of them decided to go out for dinner together on the first evening.

The waiter asked what they would like to drink, and the CEO of Miller said, "The Best Beer in the world, an MGD please!"

The president of Budweiser asked for "The King of Beers, make it a Bud!".

Adolph Coors requested a "From mountain spring water, the clearest beer, a Coors if you don't mind."

And so it went around the large table, each president asking for the brew from his own company as if it was the best.

Finally, the waiter came to Arthur Guinness.

"And you sir?" he queried.

"I'll have a Coke!" was Guinness's reply.

"A Coke??!?" The waiter was shocked.

"Wouldn't you rather have a Guinness, sir?"

Arthur looked at the waiter, and gestured to his companions. "Well," he said, "If they're not drinking beer, then neither will I!"
