The cigarette is more harmful, but not because of cancer, second hand smoke, etc. Cigarettes, cigars, snuff, chew, etc. all feed an addiction to nicotine. The tar repeatedly inhaled from burnt leaves often causes cancer, but nicotine causes something much worse: subtley corrosive narcissism (SCN). This socially acceptable personality disorder is what gives us the notion that we can use the land, waterways and air as a toilet and that someone else can deal with it tomorrow.

Where one hits the individual
The other hits all mortal beings around
Whatever it is
Both are destructive to all living beings

For modernization and monetary gains
Some corporations delve into such structures
Though it may seem worth it
But then they are "check mates" of life

The individual may feel relaxed
But how short-lived is his joy
For know not he
That which destroys inside him

Whatever it is
Both are signs of danger
Creations of man which
In long term, brings no gain

The Creator is confused
For know not He
The fault in his Creation
Which led man to destroy himself.
