I think "branding" is just one of this generations stupid words. The key to these stupid words is to make something tacky, in this advertising, sound not tacky. Guess what. It failed. People that use words like "branding" are instantly identified as wankers.

Whilst I understand the tongue in cheek nature of this posting it is misleading.

All we have up till and including the last image are a series of perceptions and assumptions based on communications. And communications are not enough to build a brand.

Why does the person understand he is a great lover?

Branding occurs when the brand delivers economic, experiential and emotional value to the consumer and that value differs from consumer to consumer.

If he is flexible enough (and has extraordinary stamina) to offer everyone whatever it is he is offering, 24/7/365 whatever their age/sex/location/sexual preference etc, then and only then is he a brand!

Veronica. I have found the two world attract two different kinds of people. While the facebook work seems to attract many more "normal" people. I find that these "normal" people don't do much. Most posts are things like "nice video" or "love it!". While the Google crowd which often uses Buzz items or perhaps blogspot blog pages, tend to have more to say. The content of both their posts/essays, and the comments posted to these tends to be better in my opinion.

So it depends on what you are actually looking to talk about, and who you are looking to talk to.

Also... do you simply want to post essays, and not care if anyone coments? Or... are you looking to post essays specifically to get people to comment, and then meet them. Also, what are you looking to use comments for? For me, I look to use comments to identify people that I not only have a quick convo with, but people that have similar interests to me, that I hope to have ongoing discussions with, on even other subjects to. So for me. I want a system where if some posts a comment to me, that I can post them back in some way. Since Google Buzz links each comment to the persons Google profile, you can usually then track that person down, and usually, simply send them an email. Often with other systems you find that the comments are dominated by most anonymous posters, that you have no way to track back, and follow up with.

This finally leads to one more thing I have found. People that spend a great deal of time trying to remain anonymous, yet post comments, often post drama oriented comments, simply to express hate of anger. When someone is commenting on a system, and you can track back to them and their google profile, you find that those are generally the people that have something to say, and are interested in polite conversations.

Hope that helps, and feel free to contact me if you are looking for further insights.

Cheers! RichGriese@gmail.com

Local Sparky provide all your electrical needs including electrical systems, emergency exit lighting, home automation, Cbus, electrical system for air conditioner roots date back to the mid-80's, when its founder began a career in the Private Investigation Industry. A time when, if you wanted to know where your target was going, you got in the van and followed him. Green light, red light, speeding or not. Pulled over by a cop or not. And if you lost him, he was gone. With today's technology, and GPS, and cell phones, and all the advantages that come with them, we can now follow more closely, zoom into every aspect of any escapade, and keep you informed.
