Maybe next time you could use photos of paraplegics who have fallen out of their wheelchairs. [These aren't pictures of party-goers who drank a little too much. These are alcoholics and alcoholism is a disease. Their lives are painful and tragic and chances are the disease will end up killing them. It's not funny.]

Paul: it's true that alcoholism isn't funny, but if these people were dressed better and the pictures were taken at night in a club, that wouldn't necessarily make those partygoers NOT alcoholics. If we can't laugh at this, we can't laugh at anyone doing anything stupid under the influence of anything. And I think we can.

Not to offend anyone, but that is totally hilarious. My wife even learned a new asana. So good can come from laughing at and with ourselves (not to mention a valuable lesson; don't get wasted in public places).When someone reaches a point like those depicted, I always feel that there were other chemicals involved besides just alcohol. That's not funny. In fact, it's downright dangerous and self-destructive; so I can understand both sides of the issue. It's funny that someone can inadvertently fall into almost asana-like poses while intoxicated -- and someone drew those conclusions using images -- but it is sad that the person put themselves in that condition in the first place.
