19. Insurance salesmen.
20. Web (Flash) pages that open with a blast of loud music when you can't find the control to turn it off. (This will always happen after midnight when everyone else in the house is sleeping.-- or WAS sleeping.)

I'm on the list w/ #18 & 19 ... added by people who eat in the grocery store AND make over exagerated motions while chewing their stolen goods, like it's the last meal & they've just had sex with it.

You got all mine! Except number your number 1 probably wouldn't be on my list. I'm blessed with practically no sense of smell, while my wife is plagued with a super sense of smell.

I'd have to include people who don't know the unwritten laws of human traffic.

I agree with all of your peeves (except for #8 and #13), but would add people popping their gum. Like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

Everything listed so far is spot on, but I can't quite understand why people don't recognize their annoying behavior, even when it is spelled out for them in black and white on lists such as these. In fact, they probably agree with the list, but somehow don't think that it could possibly apply to them. (For example, who hasn't heard that private phone conversations should be kept private? In olden times, phones in public were actually placed in booths with doors on them for just this reason.)
